Welcoming an international student into your home is a wonderful experience!  Everyday aspects of American culture will fascinate your student, and you will have the fun of learning about your student's culture too.

Here's how hosting works in a nutshell:

• The student lives as a member of your family (not a guest or boarder), participates in family life, and attends a local high school
• Students come with medical insurance and spending money to cover personal expenses like school fees, phone, clothing, etc.
• Host families are paid a modest stipend to cover room & board, transportation to and from school, etc. 
• A Local Coordinator will provide support and assistance to you and your student throughout the hosting experience
• With over 30 years of experience, ICES will help provide the experience you want by providing outstanding support to you and your student.
