Host an international exchange student or refer a host family,
and we’ll donate $500 to Texas flood relief.
Help a student. Help a family.
Create global impact — and support local recovery.
This is our busiest season for student placements — and we can’t pause.
While Texas communities recover from historic flooding, students from around the world are still arriving this fall, eager to live with a U.S. host family.
That’s why we’re asking you to help — by hosting or referring a host — and we’ll donate $500 to flood relief in your honor.
It’s one act of kindness that helps two families: one here, and one from across the globe.
1. Host a Student
Open your home to a high school exchange student this fall. Make a lifelong connection and enrich your family’s life.
2. Refer a Family
Know someone who’d be a great host? Refer them to us, and if they host, we’ll make the same $500 donation on your behalf.
3. We Donate
Once a new host family is confirmed, $500 goes to flood victims in Kerr County, one of the hardest-hit areas in Texas.
Campaign period: July 12 – August 2, 2025
Donation cap: $30,000
Goal: 60 new host families = $30,000 to flood relief
To qualify:
Host parents must be 25+ years old
Can provide a welcoming home, bed, and meals
Must pass a background check and home visit
Live in the U.S. (any state, though Texas placements are especially needed)
Hosting is voluntary and families receive training, support, and a cultural experience of a lifetime.
Why Flood Relief?
This July, devastating floods struck Kerr County and surrounding areas in Texas — destroying homes, displacing families, and taking lives. Your act of hosting (or referring) will also help rebuild what’s been lost.
We’re proud to support the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund — a trusted, local organization providing direct assistance to affected families.
